PLHS Musical Coming Soon

Little Dorothy Gale of Kansas, like so many girls her age, often dreams of what may lie over the rainbow. One day a tornado hits her home town and carries her away to Munchkinland - at the end of the rainbow. The Munchkins great Dorothy as a heroine. Dorothy wants to go home to Kansas and seeks the help of the kind, good Witch of the North. Only the great Wizard of Oz can help Dorothy get back to Kansas. Dorothy persuades three friends to accompany her on the trip to the Emerald City to see the Wizard. They are Scarecrow, who lacks a brain, he thinks; the Tinman, who has no heart, and the Cowardly Lion, who would like to have some courage.  This well-known score includes some of the best-loved songs in the American musical genre.

Perry-Lecompton High School will be presenting this iconic musical on November 14, 15 and 16.  If the football team wins this week (November 9th), the Friday night (November 15th) performance will be moved to Sunday, November 17th at 6:00 p.m.

Thursday, November 14th is our annual Dinner Theatre at 5:30 p.m. and is SOLD OUT.

Friday, November 15th and Saturday, November 16th are regular shows that begin at 7:00 p.m.

 

 

 

We are selling $8 seats (the cushioned chairs closest to the stage).  If you are wanting the bleacher seating ($5), towards the back, you will pay at the door the night of the production.
