Crisis Overview
A crisis is a situation in which something or someone is affected by one or more very serious problems that have arisen suddenly. Such events are rare, but they can affect hundreds of students and their families in our schools.
Crucial information for families will be provided through the Broadcast Calling system.
This handbook provides guidance to all district staff to promote a thoughtful response to any crisis until such time as the situation is resolved or the Greenbush Crisis Management team arrives on the scene.
Site-specific information is located in each building and on the district's "Y" drive.
The Superintendent has appointed the Director of Curriculum and Instruction as the Crisis Management Coordinator and Family Liaison.
The Superintendent serves as the Media Liaison.
Each building principal serves as Medical Liaison.
